Insects saved this week

Following the lead of Martin Usborne and his blog www.yeartohelp.com I'm trying to help as many animals as I can. So far, this has been my best effort. I think I'm going to have to try a little harder.

I brushed off the dust and cobwebs that were hindering his ability to walk.

Isn't he gorgeous? In an odd sort of way.

Another of the same type of bug as the first photo. I seem to find a lot of these in the house.

A really big one.

I forgot to take a picture of the really big scorpion that I rescued from the cat's patio. Luckily before the cats saw it.

X-rated! I didn't interrupt them.

Oh oh.....is this an international movement in the works? We save our lizards from the cats and I can't kill a grasshopper - too much of a bioengineering feat. I draw the line at the snails..they decimate my garden and I can't bear the destruction.

So far you are doing great. Are you going to do a little score card graphic?

Martins current project in Corfu has me waiting eagerly for the next episode...he's telling the tale or should I say Tail very well. I hope he doesn't have his heart broken over all of this!
