Paris- The Marais

We loved this area of Paris. Lots of museums, interesting shops and art galleries. All within easy walking distance. And lots of very nice people, unlike some of my past Paris experiences.

Our hotel. Our room was right on the street. You can just see our window on the left.
But it wasn't noisy!

France is a little ahead of us.

One of the many beautiful buildings near our hotel.

Nancy takes a stroll.

 The jump roper.

Interesting artwork in a gallery window.

Another of the many galleries.

 Saint- Paul-Saint-Louis

 Gardener/shopper.

Of course we had to eat breakfast here. Especially after meeting the nice young American owner.

 Art is everywhere.

 Even in the shop windows.

Art? (arf!)

Art ? Graffiti was everywhere, and I loved it!

And more to come...

Megan and Jean-patrick's wedding. Crest, France , Sept. 5, 2015

Here's just a few photos. (More to come.)

The happy couple after the vows.

The drum line leading up to the wedding site at the top of the hill.

The resident dog, Buddy, gets in line for a drink.

 The wonderful gypsy band.

Our banners flying in the wind. You can just barely see the two wedding photographers (one video, one still) in the window.

 Another happy couple!

 The party afterwards.

 The bouquet.
